Søren Bebe Trio fejrer 10 års fødselsdag og er gennem årene blevet rost til skyerne for sine koncerter og CD-udgivelser. Bebe lægger sig i slipstrømmen efter Keith Jarret, Esbjörn Svensson, Tord Gustavsson m.fl.
Trioen lukkede 2016 af med udgivelsen "Home" samt en række koncerter landet over samt på London Jazzfestival.
Med "Home" markerer Søren Bebe Trio sig igen som sværvægtere indenfor den nordiske jazz. Melankolien og klangskønheden er i højsædet og trioen formår som ingen andre, at få hver enkelt tone til at tælle. De tre musikere komplimenterer hinanden til perfektion og man er aldrig i tvivl om, at disse tre kender hver en hjørnesten i hverandres musikalitet.
Samtlige skæringer på "Home" er komponeret af kapelmester Bebe. Med fokus på melodien og den simple skønhed formår han at trække en rød tråd gennem hele pladen. Det er jazz til både det trænede og det utrænede øre, hvor klangskønheden er umiddelbar, men hvor dybden gør, at man hele tiden hører nye lag i musikken.
