Southern Sound er ikke blot lyden af syden som mange medier har omtalt, det er folkets sange!
Sådan indleder bandet selv deres egen beskrivelse af hvem de er.
Southern Sound består af Michael Heseler, Maria Schulz, Simon Nielsen, Preben Hultgren og Kasper Buch.
Bandet har eksisteret siden 2015, og på så kort tid har mere end 50 koncerter fundet sted!
Bandet udgav en EP i sommeren 2016, men godt et år efter udkom deres debut album "This is Southern Sound" på gaden. Gruppen blev blandt andet nomineret til årets musikpris på Esbjerg Rock festival, siden hen har det kun gået en vej, fremad!
Sangen Be in My Life fra albummet røg til tops på en 1. Plads på engelskhitlisten, efter lytterne havde stemt den til tops.
Southern Sound er kendt for at brede sig hos alle aldre, det har blandt andet været spillesteder som Back to the Roots festival, Tønder festival, Hagges, Visby Open Air, Stevning musikfestival, Gråsten sommerfestival, Vejlefjord, og mange flere! Sågar Sylvester Larsen, søn af Kim Larsen fik øje på bandet og har senere hen opvarmet for Sylvester og hans band. Bandet har samtidig lagt vej forbi Hagges og opvarmet for selveste Anthony Da Costa fra USA.

The first thing to do is check your spam/junk filters and inboxes. Your Southern Sound tickets were sent as an attachment and can be thought of as spam by some email services. The approval of refunds is entirely at the event organiser’s discretion, and you should get in contact with the event organiser to discuss what options are available to you.
