Der er en storslået kunstnerisk oplevelse i sigte, når SPOR festival for første gang nogensinde kan præsentere det helt særlige værk Stifters Dinge på dansk jord. Et værk , der befinder sig i krydsfeltet mellem performativ installationskunst og musikteater. Et ‘no-man’ show i form af en komposition for fem klaverer uden pianister og et skuespil uden skuespillere, skabt af den verdensberømte komponist og kunstner Heiner Goebbels. Med detsdragende univers af lyd, billeder og sanselige elementer som vind, tåge, vand og is, inviterer Stifters Dinge publikum med ind i et magisk rum – hvorfokus er på atse, mærke oghøre.
Stifters Dinge bygger på den romantiske 1900-tals-forfatter Adalbert Stifters tekster, og dermed også på hans store respekt for og fordybelse i tingenes eksistens og evne til at fortælle deres egne historier.
i 2007 blev Stifters Dinge uropført på det legendariske ThéâtreVidy iSchweiz, og efterfølgende er den storslåede musik-installation blevet opført over hele verden – nu endeligt også i Danmark og kulturhovedstaden Aarhus for et nordisk publikum.
