The Way Sounds Go er en spændende fusion af koncert, performance og mediekunst, skabt af den danske komponist Simon Steen-Andersen i samarbejde med Decoder Ensemble fra Hamburg.
Koncertværket væver uddrag fra nogle af Simon Steen-Andersens seneste værker, musikteaterværket If This Then That And Now What og det audiovisuelle værkAsthma, sammen med brudstykker fra Steen-Andersens signatur-værk, Run Time Error - en action-packed audiovisuel video-parkour i live interaktion med ensemblet.
Simon Steen-Andersen og Decoder Ensemble uropfører værket i det exceptionelle og visionære koncerthus Elbphilharmonie i Hamborg få dage før det kommer til SPOR festival og får sin danske debut. Med denne koncert, kan publikum se frem til at blive ført rundt i et på én gang storslået og underfundigt musikalsk univers, der demonstrerer Simon Steen-Andersens og Decoder Ensembles innovative og internationalt forankrede samarbejde.
Efter koncerten, er SPOR vært for en afslutningsreception på Godsbanen.
