У суботу, 18 жовтня запрошуємо вас на унікальний концерт Національної капели бандуристів України — легендарного колективу, який з 1918 року зберігає й розвиває музичне серце України. Цей виступ є частиною благодійного європейського турне, спрямованого на підтримку Збройних Сил України, української культури та збереження мистецької традиції, що пережила війни, репресії та вигнання.

Капела — це не просто хор, а живий міст між минулим і майбутнім України. Сорок п’ять виконавців одночасно співають і грають на бандурах — інструменті з арфоподібним звучанням, який століттями супроводжує голос українського народу. Їхнє багатоголосся сягає своїм корінням до кобзарів — мандрівних співців, що несли історію та надію від села до села. Сьогодні дев’ятеро чинних і троє колишніх артистів капели служать на фронті, захищаючи країну, про яку співають.

Програма “Струни сміливості: українська музична подорож” триватиме 80 хвилин, під час яких на вас чекають українські народні пісні та мелодії, патріотичні твори, що перегукуються з сучасною боротьбою, а також переосмислені сучасні хіти. Оркестрова група капели — із сопілками, цимбалами, кларнетами, баяном, контрабасом та ударними — надасть концерту глибини великого симфонічного звучання.

Ukraine's oldest creative collective comes to Vejle!

On Saturday, October 18, we welcome you for a rare chance to hear the National Bandura Capella of Ukraine — a legendary ensemble that has been keeping Ukraine’s musical heart beating since 1918. This concert is part of a European charity tour raising funds for the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Ukrainian culture, and the preservation of an artistic tradition that has survived war, repression, and exile.

The Capella is more than a choir — it is a living link to Ukraine’s past and its future. Forty-five performers sing and play the bandura, a harp-like instrument whose shimmering sound has accompanied the voice of Ukraine for centuries. Their harmonies are born of the kobzars — the blind minstrels who once traveled from village to village, carrying history and hope through song. Even today, nine current and three former members of the Capella serve on the front lines, defending the very country whose music they perform.

The program, "Strings of Courage: Ukrainian Musical Journey", offers 80 minutes of music with no intermission. Expect an immersion into Ukrainian folk songs, regional melodies, patriotic works that speak to today’s struggle for freedom, and reimagined contemporary classics. The Capella’s orchestral group — with sopilkas, cimbaloms, clarinets, bass, bayan, and percussion — will give the concert the depth of a full-scale symphonic performance.
