Det er techno - men ikke som vi kender det.
Til Strøm Festival 2018 er vi stolte over at kunne præsentere Tysklands mest innovative og virale techno-export: MEUTE.
Det 12-mand høje selvudråbte Techno Marching Bands unikke kombination af hypnotisk techno og udtryksfuld hornmusik har på rekordtid katapulteret dem til at være en af europas mest efterspurgte festival-bands - og de har haft travlt. Udover at have spillet mere end 100 koncerter på tyske og udenlandske festivaler, har de også udgivet et album med covers fra både Laurent Garnier, Trentemøller, Gonçalo, Stephan Bodzin og Âme. Deres setup frigør technoen fra dens trygge rammer, og giver marching bands et tiltrængt makeover.
MEUTE besøger for første gang Danmark, og vi er glade for at kunne præsentere dem i intime rammer i det 104-år gamle ikoniske teater Riddersalen på Frederiksberg.

For 12. år i træk fylder Strøm Festival København og Frederiksberg med elektronisk musik. Vi bruger byens urbane rum - fra åbne pladser til de mørke natklubber, fra monumentale kirker til offentlige veje. Alt sammen for at matche den musikalske æstetik med et passende miljø.
Strøm Festival 2018 foregår fra d. 8. - 11. august 2018.
