I anledning af 150-året for H.C. Andersens død præsenterer ÆTLA, Vesselil og Kind of Opera en unik julekoncert med David Langs prisvindende værk, The Little Match Girl Passion.
Værket dykker ned i den lille piges fortælling og er inspireret af H.C. Andersens rørende, men mørke eventyr. I Svovlstikkerne bliver centrale temaer som social ulighed, sorg og håb, der kendetegner H.C. Andersens indsigtsfulde fortællinger, vævet sammen.
Sammen med folkemusikensemblet Vesselil har ÆTLA og Kind of Opera skabt en medrivende musikalsk og visuel forestilling, hvor publikum indhylles i lyd og lys. Forvent en stemningsfuld aften, hvor musikken ikke kun berører, men også inspirerer til refleksion over samtidens sociale udfordringer.
