GENTS
Siden GENTS (Theis Vesterløkke og Niels Fejrskov Juhl) debuterede med den anmelderroste EP 'Embrace The Future' i december 2015, er det gået stærkt for synthpop-duoen. 2016 så GENTS åbne Roskilde Festivals Countdownscene, spille anmelderroste koncerter på bl.a. SPOT Festival og Trailerpark, såvel som et udsolgt show på Lille Vega. Alt imens knoklede duoen på debutalbummet 'About Time'. Pladen udkom den 7. april på The Big Oil Recording Company.
På pladen slår GENTS - med glimt i øjet og den gode melodi i fokus - et slag for patos. Med højloftede synthesizere og Juhls karakteristiske baryton fører de lytteren ind i et stadigt mere helstøbt og ejendommeligt univers. Men selvom legesygen, glimtet i øjet og de store følelser er intakte fra deres forrige udspil, har GENTS fundet frem til et mere seriøst udtryk i samarbejde med producerparret Victor Groth og Niklas Grool (Vinnie Who, Schultz & Forever m.fl.). Resultatet er etdetaljerigt og stramt popalbum, hvor der alligevel er plads til alt fra panfløjtesoloer og house beats til spanske guitarer, der her indgår i en umiddelbar meningsfuld sammenhæng, som en væsentlig og essentiel del af musikken: Det er legesygt, men fokuseret.

The first thing to do is check your spam/junk filters and inboxes. Your TAPE: Gents tickets were sent as an attachment and can be thought of as spam by some email services. The approval of refunds is entirely at the event organiser’s discretion, and you should get in contact with the event organiser to discuss what options are available to you.
