Lambic lovers, beer geeks and curious drinkers of all stripes: a rare and fantastic opportunity is coming your way! Our friend Yves Panneels, chairman of The Gueuze Society and co-owner of the legendary Lambic bar In de Verzekering Tegen de Grote Dorst, is coming up to Copenhagen to spread the love of Lambic by hosting a tasting and lecture on our favorite spontaneously fermented beverage. Yves is an expert on Lambic and a giant in the community. He's organized festivals and lectures, traveled far and wide spreading the gospel of Gueuze, and now it's our honor and privilege to welcome him into our bar for an amazing event. Yves is bringing some hand-picked Lambics for us to taste as well as some bottles of Toots Geuze, a Gueuze blended by some 10 members of the Gueuze Society including Raf Soef (Bokkerreyder), Uli Kremer (h.Ertie) and Yves himself. These bottles, of which there were only 254 produced in total, will be for sale (drink-in only, no take aways) after the lecture, so don't miss your chance to try it!
