Den amerikanske rap-duo THA DOGG POUND rammer Nørrebro hårdt den 9. maj. De har lagt tracks med Snopp dogg, Dr Dre, Nate Dogg, Tupac og alle de andre amerikanske hip-hop stjerner. Nu kommer de til Guldbergsgade 8 og starter din Kristi Himmelfarts-ferie med et brag.
Daz Dillinger og Kurupt udgør den verdenskendte duo; Tha Dogg Pound, som efterhånden har opnået en legendarisk status i hip-hop miljøet. I 1995 udsendte de albummet ”Dogg Food”, der trods den kontroversielle stil, gik tre gange platin.
Duoen fra den amerikanske vestkyst er i manges øjne indbegrebet af det, der går under betegnelsen gangstarap. Igennem tiden har Tha Dogg Pound deltaget i Dr. Dre og Tuparcs enorme hits ”The Chronic”, ”All Eyes On Me”, The Next Episode og ej, at forglemme Snoop Doggs album ”Doggystyle”. Netop Snoop Dogg har været en stor del af Tha Dogg Pounds karrierer og de har haft utallige shows sammen og begge været en del af det legendariske Death Row Records.
Efter utallige brud og kontroverser med hinanden, kom de tilbage i 2010 med deres comebackalbum "100 Wayz" og i 2012 udgav de albummet "Doggy Bag". Nu er de tilbage i Danmark og det vil du ikke gå glip af!
