    The 27th Nordic Medical History Congress
    22-25 May 2019, DGI-Byen in Copenhagen

    The main purpose is to bring scholars, curators, clinicians, and students within the (Nordic) history of medicine together to present and discuss new developments and experiences. A broad spectrum of topics will be presented both as keynote talks and parallel sessions. Naturally, the program will also offer other events, excursions and a social dinner. 

    - Venue -
    DGI-Byen (CPH Conference),Tietgensgade 65, 1704 CPH V - only 150 meters away from Copenhagen Central Station.

    - Accommodation -

    The Organizing Committee will prepare a list of hotels close to DGI-Byen (CPH Conference). This will be declared to participants by e-mail, including reduced rates, upon registration. 

    - Registration Fees -

    • Full Congress: 2.999 DKK
      Including welcome reception (22 May) and two congress days (23 & 24 May).
      You will have to sign-up for the social dinner and excursions separately. 

    • (PhD) Student Delegate: 1.599 DKK
      Including welcome reception (22 May) and two congress days (23 & 24 May).

    • One-day Pass (Thu 23/5): 1.599 DKK

      Accompanying persons are most welcome - simply buy two tickets.
      We offer a great gourmet 3-course dinner with wine.

      Jens Ole Schwarz-Nielsen will present selected masterpieces: Diseases and Medicine in Antiquity. 
      Only 30 participants for this excursion - first come, first served!

    • 2x Free Excursions (Sat 25 May, 10-13)
      a) New CPH Cholera Epidemic Special Exhibition (Nyboders Mindestuer)
      b) Guided Tour in the Collections of Thomas Bartholin and Nicolas Steno (The Royal Danish Library)
