Kom ned på Bartof Station på Frederiksberg i København og oplev the BOWIE tributes hyldest til legenden David Bowie og hans musik. Når bandet starter motoren og godstoget sætter igang, så er det som at høre mesteren selv: Autentisk, ægte, og stærkt vanedannende - Bowie er i rummet!
Skulder ved skulder står publikum i den tætpakkede koncertsal. Lyden af et godstog fylder rummet, og the BOWIE tribute indtager scenen til tonerne af Station to Station: “The return of The Thin White Duke - throwing darts in lovers eyes” skærer gennem luften. Bandets tunge beat og forsanger Michael Saxes vokal holder publikum i et jerngreb. Bowie fylder rummet - hvis man lukker øjnene, er han der selv.
50 års Bowie
Fra Major Tom forsvandt i rummet på “Life on Mars” til David Bowie steg til himmels med albummet “Black Star” gik der 50 år - og hvilke 50 år! Mesteren selv er her ikke længere, men hans sange står som støbt i samme jern, som togskinnerne, der på Station to Station afstikker vejen til næste stop: Skarpe, evigt unge, vedkommende.
Musikken
Sætlisten indeholder numre fra hele Bowis karriere: Fra monumentale Station to Station, rum-eventyret Starman, syrede Scary Monsters, mega-hits som kærligheds-hymnerne Heroes og Under Pressure, og frem til Bowies eget requiem Lazarus fra hans sidste album Black Star. For ikke at glemme Let’s Dance, China Girl, Ziggy Stardust, Changes og Life on Mars. Eller hvad med Ashes to Ashes og Station to Station?
