Den svenske barytonsaxofonist, komponist, orkesterleder og arrangør Lasse Gullin var en af de absolut største inden for nordisk jazz i 50’erne.
Det er lykkedes oktetten The Danish Lasse Gullin Society at samle en lang række af Lasse Gullins originale arrangementer for denne besætning, og vi har med stor entusiasme nydt at spille denne vidunderlige musik gennem 25 år.
Mange musikere har været med i logen. Den unge barytonsaxofonist Aske Drasbæk, som mange i Århus kender som altsaxofonist i Århus Jazzorchestra, er seneste tilkomne medlem. Hans lyriske spillestil passer perfekt ind i Gullin sounden.
