The HALs er en gruppe af computerprogrammer, som kan skrive musik autonomt, altså en art af kunstig intelligens. De har taget navn efter HAL 9000, den kendte computer fra Rumrejsen år 2001. De er dog anderledes venlige og omgængelige.
De har besluttet sig for at danne et band, for at turnere med musikken. Og de har tilknyttet en robotarm, som skal hjælpe med det praktiske på scenen.
Dette er bandets debut! Glæd dig til numre som "Machine Manifesto", "For the love of Trump", "Who am I" samt den smukke elegi, "Daisy, Daisy" - og mange flere.
