The Mighty Mouse er et spændende og friskt bud på en moderne nordisk klavertrio. Der er god plads i musikken, og det åbne univers smelter sammen med kompositionerne, på en organisk og naturlig måde. Inspirationskilderne er mange, men den legendariske trio med Bobo Stenson, Anders Jormin og Paul Motian, samt Paul Bley, er til stor inspiration for trioens lyd og approach til musikken.
Musikerne er alle tre vigtige aktører på den danske musikscene og er grundlæggere af pladeselskabet og musikerkollektivet Barefoot Records. (www.barefoot-records.com)
The Mighty Mouse har i de seneste år turneret intensivt i Danmark, Tyskland, Polen og Sverige og har udgivet to anmelderroste albums på Barefoot Records. Trioen lægger an til at indspille en ny plade, som udkommer på Barefoot Records.
