The Modern Latin Band spiller Latin Jazz i en rejse gennem tider og stilarter fra hele det amerikanske kontinent. De spiller musik fra latinamerikanske og Nordamerikanske komponister, kombineret med egne kompositioner. Ensemblet bevæger sig fra Cubas folklore og Brasilianske Jazz til amerikanske jazz klassikere. Projektet blev født i Malmø, hvor musikere fra Colombia, Danmark, Tyskland, Cuba, Sverige og Mexico mødes og spiller, improvisere, arrangere, oversætte og skabe nyt materiale fra deres forskellige musikalske baggage.
Billetter koster 60 kr. i forsalg og 90 kr. i døren.

The Modern Latin Band is a musical project that was born in Malmö, Sweden where the phenomenon of the mixture of nationalities and styles is repeated. Musicians from Colombia, Denmark, Germany,Cuba, Sweden and Mexico meet and make music, improvise , arrange , interpret and create new material to communicate all that global heritage of which they are carriers.
