George Garzone betragtes af mange som en musikernes musiker - en tenorsaxofonens pionér der har inspireret en hel generation af saxofonister. Dette er en unik mulighed for at kunne opleve hans spil under yderst intime forhold. Det er fjerde år i træk at denne fantastiske trio optræder under Copenhagen Jazz Festival. De har gennem årene oparbejdet en unik sammenspilsevne - senest på det seneste års turnéer i New York, Maine og San Francisco.
Klaus Nørgaard og RJ Miller har været bas- og trommemakkere, siden 2008 hvor de for første gang spillede sammen i New York City.
Trioen spiller ti koncerter på Gaarden & Gaden under festivalen. Der vil blive inviteret gæstemusikere til flere af koncerterne.

By many considered a musicians musician - George Garzone - a pioneer of the tenor saxophone who has inspired a whole generation of musicians. This is a unique opportunity to be able to experience him under extremely intimate conditions. For the fourth year in a row this fabulous trio will perform during Copenhagen Jazz Festival. They have over the years developed a unique sound and ability to play with magical coherence - latest on their recent tours in New York, Maine and San Francisco.
Klaus Nørgaard og RJ Miller has been musical partners since 2008 where they played together in New York City. The Trio plays ten gigs at Gaarden & Gaden during the festival. There will be invited guest musicians to several of the concerts.
