Den danske folk-trio består af bedstevennerne Claus Arvad, Jakob Eilsø og Frederik Vedersø, som i efteråret 2010 drog i sommerhus for at begynde at skrive musik. Efter mange års tro tjeneste i forskellige bands fandt de tre sammen endelig et udtryk, der tillod dem at skrive musik ligeså rendyrket og personlig, som mange af deres tidløse inspirationer såsom The Beatles, Simon & Garfunkel og Neil Young. Det er også den klassiske 1968-udgivelse fra Beatles, The White Album opkalder sig efter.
Da trioen i 2011 debuterede med den digitale udgivelse ”The Album” høstede de stor anerkendelse i USA og gik direkte i top-5 hos den amerikanske radiostation NPR 2. Året efter udkom EP’en ”Conquistador” til stor medieros både i udlandet og herhjemme, og Soundvenue gav udgivelsen 5 stjerner.
I 2014 gik den ultimative drengedrøm i opfyldelse, da The White Album udgav deres debutalbum ”The Quiet Strum” på det legendariske Beatles-label Parlophone.
The White Album er nomineret til Odense Live Prisen 2018.
