This talk will be about the dead ends we as designers run into when we are stereotyped and put into boxes. About tiger leaps and hard landings.
She will tell the story of a redesign that involved a bear changing colour and an eccentric but charming editorial staff.
Katinka Bukh has changed jobs in various disciplines several times. Although she is rooted in editorial design, she has also worked professionally with branding, marketing and UX design for bla. Zetland, Politiken, Times Magazine and Jimmy Choo as well as a natural gas company in Trinidad. She will be talking about the ups- and downs of her many career changes.

Katinka Bukh
Katinka Bukh is the design chef of Weekendavisen. The redesign of the 270-year-old newspaper got international attention when The
Society for News Design announced it to be the most beautiful paper in the world. She has been working internationally and locally for a wide spread range of companies including art director for Euroman, Ud & Se and design chef for Zetland.

Ladies, Wine & Design - Copenhagen sees itself as a monthly fireplace, which creates a space for creatives* to be free, open and inspired. It's about exchanging ideas, making new contacts and promoting one another. We talk about design, creativity and professional structures and the everyday life that happens between all of this. Everyone who is or wants to come into contact with the creative industry is welcome. All events require a small donation for the first glas of wine** and registration via billetto.com.
