TUE WEST
Siden sin debut i 2003 har Tue West været en fast bestanddel af en stor generation af dansksprogede sangskrivere.
Nærværende sange om livet er omdrejningspunktet, og den udtryksfulde og improviserede tilgang til musikken er en stor del af bandets DNA. Et dynamisk set up, der konstant udvikler deres lyd og retning.
Den 5. november udkommer Tue West med sit første album i 5 år: ’Frihed Til At Være En Fange’. I Perioden siden sidste album, ’Der er ingen der venter på os’ fra 2016, har han udsendt en EP og en håndfuld singler.
Både albummet og livebandet flirter med lyden af 70/80’ernes guitarkoryfæer – med den dansksprogede poesi som det fortællende midtpunkt. Bagkataloget og de nye sange fortolkes af livebandets rejse rundt i den improvisationsprægede folk/rock samt nærværet og energien.
