Nova Concerts presents Uma Kabongo — a Copenhagen-born artist with Congolese roots whose music moves between jazz, soul and R&B with a clearly contemporary voice. Joined by her five-piece band, she brings that sound to the stage with pulse and a stage presence that is unmistakably her own.

In 2024, she released her debut single Intentions Change — a title that says something about what drives her music: that everything is in motion, and that this is often where the most interesting things begin to happen. The song reached 60,000 streams worldwide and introduced an artist able to hold reflection, vulnerability and quiet confidence in the same breath. There is melancholy in her music, but also an undercurrent of hope that keeps it open.
