En(drama)dokumentarisk rejse gennem digteren Michael Strunges liv og univers. Filmen tegner et billede af mennesket Michael Strunge – hans liv og hans vej til at blive centrum for en ny generation af digtere i starten af 80’erne.
Han blev et spejl for denne generations identitet og livsform, mens han kæmpede med angst og psykotiske anfald, der medførte, at han i en alder af 27 år begik selvmord.
Hans digte og prosa lever i vid udstrækning videre i nye, unge generationer langt ud over den tid, de blev skabt i.
DOX:Café åbner kl 18 og filmen vises kl 19 i samarbejde med Kalundborg Folkeuniversitet.
