Sanger og pianist Victor Svold er blandt Danmarks nye skud på jazz-stammen. Hans musikalske evne og alsidighed tillader ham at blande moderne pop-musik med traditionel vokal jazz, og tilsammen udgør det en stil, alle kan være med på.

    Med sin musik bestræber Svold sig nemlig på at åbne jazz-genren op for et bredere publikum, og det kommer blandt andet til udtryk i hans sangskrivning, hvor der er tydelige referencer til musik i stil med Frank Sinatra, men også referencer til poppen, som man kender det fra Norah Jones og Jamie Cullum.

Pt. arbejder Victor Svold på sit debutalbum, som skal bidrage til særligt at udbrede vokal bigbandmusik. Indtil nu har han udgivet en håndfuld singler og to EP’er, som alle kan findes på streaming services.

I 2021 måtte koncerten med Victor Svold desværre aflyses, så vi glæder os ekstra til at byde ham og hans trio velkommen hos H15 i år.

The singer and pianist Victor Svold belongs to the new Danish generation of jazz. His musical abilities allows him to combine modern pop-music with traditional vocal jazz and with the combination form a modern jazz style, a wide audience enjoys.

  With his music, Svold strives to open up jazz to a wider audience, which is clearly expressed through his songwriting that contains references to both Frank Sinatra as well as modern pop music. A style seen from artists like Norah Jones and Jamie Cullum as well.

Currently, Victor Svold is working on his debut album with which he aims to strengthen the familiarity with and love for vocal big band music. Presently, Svold has released a handful of singles and two EPs that are all available on streaming services.

In 2021 this concert was unfortunately cancelled, so we are now more than ready to welcome Victor Svold and his trio back to H15 this year!
