Den internationalt kendte og anerkendte jazzsangerinde Cæcilie Norby kommer til Mørkøv Kirkeby.
Vi er utrolig stolte over at kunne præsentere ingen ringere end Cæcilie Norby på Gården i Mørkøv Kirkeby. Hun hører til i den absolutte elite af jazzsangere i Europa - med en musikalitet og indlevelse som kun få besidder.
Cæcilie Norby blev tilbage i 1995 den første europæiske kunstner, der fik udgivet et album på det legendariske Blue Note pladeselskab i New York.
Cæcilie Norby blev oprindeligt kendt som forsanger i jazz/rockorkestret Frontline og senere som en af to sangerinder i pop/rockbandet One Two, hvor hun sang sammen med sangerinde Nina Forsberg. Siden One Two stoppede i 1993, har hun primært optrådt som solist og særligt inden for jazzgenren.
Cæcilie Norby har modtaget adskillige priser, bl.a. Ben Webster prisen allerede i 1995, og hun er en af de bedst sælgende jazzartister i Europa.

Vi præsenterer jazz, roots og blues på vores lille, hyggelige scene på en gammel gård i Mørkøv Kirkeby. Vi finder spændende musikere, man måske ellers ikke kan høre i Danmark eller har hørt om før. Men vi lover, at kvaliteten er i top, og at man kommer hjem med en stor musikalsk oplevelse. Håber vi ses!
