    ENGLISH:

Experience the Danish-Norwegian-Swedish singer Cathrine Legardh breathe life into a handful of carefully selected Nordic songs. She is joined by her two steadfast musical companions: pianist Jacob Christoffersen and bassist Jesper Thorn _ plus violinist and chromatic harmonica player Alexander Kraglund. The repertoire spans both older and newer music (Wresviijk, Taube, Riedel, Zetterlund, Bo Kaspers, among others), as well as Legardh’s own settings of poems by the two Toves (Jansson and Ditlevsen). In addition, a small collection of brand-new winter songs will see the light of day when Legardh's vocal ensemble Kvindeklang drops by. Kvindeklang is a smaller ensemble led by Legardh – one might call it “Nordic female power and harmony – with nature at heart.” www.legardh.dk

KVINDEKLANG – WITH NATURE AT HEART
We will also be introduced to an entirely new choir – the vocal ensemble KVINDEKLANG, consisting of 20 dedicated singers who work aurally and intuitively, without sheet music or written parts. Beneath the treetops, all the music is arranged – and new songs come into being – in dialogue with the surroundings, the weather, and the season.

The repertoire spans Nordic folk songs, hymns, traditional music, jazz, and, not least, original compositions. A handful of the pieces are brand new – written and arranged especially for the ensemble by Cathrine Legardh, who founded and leads the choir.
