Matching Outfits fra Berlin kommer forbi Stengade med deres selvironiske, humoristiske og dramatiske indie pop show. Support bliver Bubbling Well og Ondskyld (solo).

Matching Outfits:
Matching Outfits are a trio of adopted Berliners whose warped, wistful take on indie pop has been compared to “a Super 8 film from the family attic”. Singer Linnea Mårtensson’s lyrics capture life’s major losses and minor inconveniences in gut-wrenching, occasionally hilarious detail, while dulcet harmonies morph into discordant freakouts and shout-along choruses. Their debut cassette ‘Band Made Out Of Sand’ caught the attention of cult radio station WFMU as well as New Jersey label Bar/None (Yo La Tengo, The Feelies), which signed the band and released their sophomore album ‘Ditch Me’ on July 25th 2025. The band does not wear matching outfits, except when they do.

+ Support: Bubbling Well
Bubbling Well is a Copenhagen indie rock band consisting of Søren (ex-Tex Fuller), Silje (ex-NO), Emil (ex-Mønsterrapporten) and Claus (Younolovebunny). The band draws inspiration from Flying Nun, Beat Happening, British folk rock and Sonic Youth. They have three songwriters and vocalists who create a varied sound from powerful to airy and melancholic – but always melodic.

Ondskyld's music lies between DIY punk and grand emotional pop rock ballad in Danish. From the punk is a deep love for high energy levels and doing things wrong. With hectic, intricate, poetic, hyper concrete, soulful and sorrowful songs, Ondskyld apologize for their inadequacy, even though there is nothing to apologize for. Life's great emotions and the boring details of everyday life are blended into a coarse-grained rock smoothie of impotence, humor and optimism.
The band debuted with a handful of heart-wrenching rock slurs, live tracked on cassette tape with hits from a really lonely shitty summer on the break-up EP 'Hjertesorg Sommerrock 2024' and has made a mark on the stage in the last few years with explosive live shows, a lot of airplay of the singles 'Kundeservice' and 'Føle Ssomom' and two interviews in DEBUT on P6 BEAT

Spillestedet Stengade is a progressive user-driven music venue in the middle of Nørrebro in Copenhagen. The music profile at Spillestedet Stengade is diverse - often based on the local underground but also with a large number of international artists.
The house's many dedicated volunteers are the absolute lifeblood of Stengade, who run our approx. 200 concert events per year. Without them there wouldn't be any shows!
