Dette intime musikalske møde er optakt til et nyt og særligt samarbejde mellem jazzvokalisterne Roderik Povel (nl) og Louise Bøttern (dk). De to sangere udforsker sammen genreområdet mellem klassisk jazz og moderne europæisk jazz.
Louise Bøttern kommer med en cool, newyorkerstil, som det høres på albummet “Kick Off Your Shoes” med 60’er jazz, som er hipt og humoristisk. Roderik Povel udforsker den progressive udkant af det musikalske landskab, og har bl.a. udgivet “When The Caged Bird Sings” - sange til digte af Paul Laurence Dunbar.
Udover deres vokalduetter vil begge vokalister bidrage med perler fra deres eget repertoire.
Kom og oplev de første spæde skridt til hvor og hvordan to så vidt forskellige jazzvokalister mødes musikalsk.
