In collaboration with Nordic Reality and MAKROPOL, FOKUS 2016 will host the first of it's kind Virtual Reality workshop in Denmark - including a hands-on masterclass. This intimate workshop is created as a unique possibility for people curios about the mechanism of storytelling in Virtual Reality.
Through professional VR experts, you will get insights on how VR technology can be a new tool for storytelling within e.g. video art, film and commercial communications.
You will get the opportunity to get up close and witness a VR production and experience the challenges and potential of the media in the process from idea to product.
Meet Simon Wilkinson an underground VR artist and the creator of the highly anticipated installation THE CUBE - which he will showcase during the event. Among the speakers you will also meet the award winning Interactive VR director Anrick Bregmann from UNIT9 and the people behind the world-renowned Skammekrogen - MAKROPOL. As a special take on this day, we have also invited Kristian Andreasen from the talented post-production company KANDA, who will go into depth about technical aspects of VR production.
The event will take place on February 27, 2016 at. 9.30 to 18, followed by drinks.
