På Vivaldis tid forsøgte violinisterne at efterligene den menneskelige stemme, mens sangerne
bestræbte sig på at opnå instrumenternes brillante klang.
I dette program præsenteres en spændende dialog mellem violin og sopranstemmen,
som demonstrerer den menneskelige evne til at opnå sublim skønhed, rørende stemning og afvæbnende humor.
Violinisten Peter Spissky vil male musikalske billeder i de berømte violinkoncerter “De 4 årstider” og sopranen Eline Soelmark vil forføre og inspirere os med hendes gyldne stemme i de virtuose kantater.
