I rækken af WaveFesterne feat: synthbands'ene Blancmange, Covenant, Boytronic, Wolfgang Flur, Depeche Mode & David Bowie Celebration er vi kommet til nr. syv i rækken siden starten af april 2016.
***For første gang til en WaveFest kan du komme ind fra kl. 23 til blot 80 kr. så får du afterparty med og dans i fire timer....Køb via link her eller betal i døren. Men støt live musikken og få ikke bare et band, men to bands på opleveren....alle som har set Machinista live er vilde med dem.
Er du vild med Depeche Mode, U2, The Cure, The Cult, Simple Minds, Ultravox, Kraftwerk, Yazoo, Bronski Beat, Erasure, Soft Cell, Gary Numan, Visage, David Bowie, Erasure, synthpop og New Wave? Du gik primært i sort tøj tilbage i 80'er/90'erne, og elsker stadig musikken, og minderne med masser af strithår, hårlak, læder og overdrevent eyeliner. Så er WaveFest noget for dig. Synth nørder og musikelskere mødes, hører fed musik og danser løs...kom med de gamle venner eller kom og få nye. Du er aldrig alene til en WaveFest....men fyldes med et rush af synth og den bedste stemning.
Vi mødes igen til tonerne af et fantastisk fedt svensk synthband, og et nyt og spændende dansk synth duo. Efter koncerterne er der selvfølgelig PARTY og her spiller DJ Primi, som er kendt i synthkredsene også som Jens B.Petersen. DJ Primi er klar med de største og kendeste synthhits - og du husker og kender sangene trods mange er tilbage fra 80erne:) WE LOVE...og det ender ofte med fællessang.
WaveFest vol. : 7 feat: Machinista - the Electronic-pop duo from Sweden. The band has performed a lot of shows in their home-country, as well as in other European countries. They have also played a number of festivals, such as: Wave Gotik Treffen, Analogue- Trash Festival, Electrostat, Dark Storm Festival, E-Werk Ost Festival, ElectriXmas, Emmaboda-festival, Nordic Lights Festival just to name a few. You will leave really HAPPY with their very catchy tunes.
Live, the band is a full blown 4-piece with members:

SoftWave’s biography
Softwave is an upcoming electropop duo with inspiration from the 80s, consisting of Jerry Olsen and Catrine Christensen. The duo is unsigned and uses DIY methods with great help from supporters around the World. Together, the duo create the great combination of Jerry’s catchy melodic synth sounds, and the emotional expression of the adorable singer and songwriter, Catrine’s lyric and good song voice. There is speed on the “waves” that soon reach new heights.
Softwave’s music moves within the electropop / synthpop genre, also called synthwave. Synthwave is the new music culture that seeks to recapture 80’s synth music. Softwave’s music can be described as being uplifting, catchy, dance-friendly with edge, depth, emotions and energy from the 80’s, but still maintained in their own and modern sound. The band’s biggest idol is Erasure, followed by inspiration from Eurythmics, Depeche Mode, Pet Shop Boys, Kavinsky, Empathy Test and Shelter.
