    FREE EVENT: We invite you to a night of poetry and prose presenting diverse expressions through various languages. Doors open at 5pm!

    Allan Lillelund Andersen (host and event curator) is a translator of Norwegian fiction, founder and editor of the publishing house Silkefyret, and a most dedicated writer and teacher of creative writing. He is to publish a book on writing and writes short stories and short novels. Allan holds a master’s degree in Scandinavian Languages and Literature and is Head of Literature Programmes at Løves Bog- og Vincafé and Carmel Nordic.

    Carl Jóhan Jensen is a writer, poet and literary critic. His books was nominated 5 times for the Nordic Council's Literature Prize. In 1989 and 2006 he received the M. A. Jacobsen's Cultural Prize from Tórshavn City Council. He grew up in Tórshavn, spent 3 years in Denmark from 1973, then moved back to the Faroe Islands. He is known for his compelling readings of long poems.

    Jón Atli Jónasson is a screenwriter, novelist and is considered by many to be one of the foremost Icelandic playwrights He is a founding member of the Mindgroup, a European umbrella group of people involved in experimental theater.

    Nanna Kalkar is a translator of Islandic poetry and novels. She has translated amongst others Eiríkur Örn Norðdahl's Ondskab (Evil), nominated for Nordic Council's Literature Prize 2014, Several crime novels by Yrsa Sigurðardóttir and also nominated children's authors i.e. Thórarinn Leifsson og Gunnar Helgason.
