Inspiration og musik i Salen
Designeren Ulrik Nordentoft har fået nye lokaler i Kronværksbyen på Kronborg.
I lokalet ”Salen” vil Ulrik Nordentoft Studio i den kommende tid være vært for en række inspirationsaftener om kunst, design, kvalitet og hvad der inspirerer os hver især som mennesker og som kunstnere.
Den første ”inspirations salon” bliver tirsdag den 10 oktober 2017 kl. 19.30 hvor der indbydes til koncert og dialog med en international trio:
Simon Winse (BF/F): Fløjte, Ngoni, Vokal
Katrine Suwalski (DK): Saxofon, Fløjte, Vokal
Ayi Solomon (GH/DK): Percussion, Vokal
Kl. 19.30 Vil musikerne hver især fortælle om hvad der inspirerer dem som musikere og ved at spille sammen i netop denne trio. Kl. 20-22 vil der være koncert, og herefter åbent hus til kl. 22.30
De tre musikere er alle både komponister og instrumentalister, som turnerer i hele verden med deres musik. Denne aften mødes de i et vidtfavnende musikalsk univers hvor jazz og improvisation blandes med ghanesiske rytmer og traditionel musik fra Burkina Faso.
Simon Winsé kommer fra Burkina Faso men bor nu fast i Paris, hvor han leder sin egen gruppe. Han spiller på det traditionelle strengeinstrument N’goni (i kora familien) og på bambusfløjte ”Flute Peule”.
Katrine Suwalski kendes herhjemme som jazzsaxofonist og leder af orkestret Another World, hvor også Ayi Solomon spiller med. Hun har udgivet syv CD er i eget navn. Hendes musik er nu også ved at blive anerkendt i Ghana, hvor hun har turneret flere gange.
Ayi Solomon er opvokset i Ghana, men har boet i Danmark i de sidste 30 år, hvor han har etableret sig som en af de travleste jazz og world musikere herhjemme. Han kendes fra samarbejde med Palle Mikkelborg, New Jungle Orchestra og mange andre.
Salen er placeret i den gamle Sekondløjtnantskole, bygning 1, i ly af Kronborg Slot. Gå over vindebroen og til højre. Der vil være skilte. Dørene åbnes kl.19.
