Yul Anderson's music is a mixture of 18th and 19th Century Classical Music rooted in American Black Music creating a Flowing and Rythmic Solo Piano Improvisation. Yul Anderson performed the main soundtrack "All Along The Watchtower" in the John Malkovich debut directorial film "The Dancer Upstairs" starring Oscar Winner Javier Bardem.
Yul Anderson indleder aftenen ved klaveret, som er det, de fleste normalt forbinder med den amerikanske musiker, der tidligere har slået sine folder midt på Købmagergade ved Rundetårn i København.
Her har han især været kendt for sine smukke virtuose, klaverkompositioner, som har fortryllet hverdagen for de forbipasserende med sit drømmende sammensurium af lyd og toner. En euforiserende musikalsk rejse.
Anderson ikke bare spiller på tangenterne. Han er dem, når han giver alt, hvad han har. På én gang dæmpet og ekspressivt, metallisk og blødt, som et insisterende favntag med nuet.
