Koralrevsopråb på Aveny-T fra medlemmer af det verdenskendte, genrebøjende amerikanske band.
Det er ingen hemmelighed at CPH:DOX og Animal Collective går langt tilbage. Bandet har gæstet festivalen i en håndfuld gange i forskellige varianter af deres konstellationer. Til næste CPH:DOX i anledningen af deres seneste audiovisuelle, meditative og samfundskritiske værk fra august ’Tangerine Reef’, lavet i samarbejde med art-science-duoen Coral Morphologic. Aftenen starter med visning af det audiovisuelle, ’Tangerine Reef’, hvorefter der vil være en samtale med Geologist fra bandet, der selv har en kandidatgrad i miljøpolitik med speciale i koralafblegning samt forsker Colin Foord fra Coral Morphologic. Aftenen rundes af med solo-koncerter fra både Geologist og Deakin fra bandet, som sammen udgav nummeret Suspend the Time i november med den indiske Sitar musiker Ami Dang til støtte for The Ocean Foundation. Og så vil kunstner-forskeren Colin Foord skabe live-visuals til aftenens koncerter.
