Men vi vil da også tage udgangspunkt i de mange skønne amerikanske juleklassikere som f.eks. The Christmas Song og Winter Wonderland. Et par afstikkere til Brasiliens varmere himmelstrøg bliver nok svær at undgå med aftenens hold.

Udover at mødes om god og levende musik med nogle af byens bedste jazzmusikere, vil vi fejre julen, hjerternes fest og udgivelsen af videoen til The Love (Merry Christmas), som vil blive vist på en større skærm end en telefon. Den kom ud for en uge siden (27.11) og er blevet til som et con amore familieprojekt med både venner og familie indover. Den er optaget før corona og uden anelse om den verdensomspændende krise, som lå og ventede om hjørnet. Den er derfor helt uden afstand og mundbind, men til gengæld fuld af af hygge, uforbeholdne kram og mennesker der mødes. Noget vi alle sammen glæder os til at kunne igen. Så kom og vær med til en eftermiddag, hvor vi hygger os, så godt vi kan.

Come and enjoy a concert of american christmas classics played by some of the great musicians on the danish jazz scene.
This afternoon we'll also be celebrating the making of the video The Love (Merry Christmas). It was premiered one week ago (nov 27) and will be shown on a bigger screen than your phone. The video has been made as a con amore family projectwith both friends and family involved. It was shot before corona with no idea of the global crisis that was lurking around the corner. Therefore with no safety distance or facemasks, but with lots of danish hygge, hugs and people getting together. Something we all look forward to be doing again. Let's have a cozy christmas afternoon together.
