Hør den hidtil ufortalte historie om, hvordan Laura Jacobsen, J.C. Jacobsens hustru, med stor ildhu og kløgt spillede en stor rolle i skabelsen af Carlsberg Bryggeri og Carlsbergfondet.
Indtil nu har historiebøgerne fremhævet J.C. Jacobsen som grundlægger af Carlsberg-imperiet, men bryggeriet blev ikke skabt af ham alene. Faktisk var det J.C. og hustruen Laura Jacobsen, der som et tæt samarbejdende ægtepar grundlagde de værdier, som Carlsberg blev funderet på.
Oplev den prisvindende forsker, professor emerita og dr.phil. Birgitte Possing, når hun tegner et hidtil uset nuanceret billede af Carlsbergs historie, hvor Laura Jacobsen spillede en central rolle i dannelsen af et af de første europæiske vidensnetværk, som muliggjorde bryggeriets succes.
BIRGITTE POSSING er historiker, forfatter og foredragsholder. I 2020 vandt hun DR’s formidlingspris Rosenkjærprisen for hendes evne til at formidle svært tilgængeligt stof gennem særdeles læseværdige bogudgivelser og fremragende foredrag. Hun er også kendt for den anmelderroste udgivelse ’Argumenter imod kvinder’, der tegner et nuanceret billede af kønsroller og magtforhold i samfundet.
Arrangementet er en optakt til Kvindernes Internationale Kampdag 8. marts, og samtalen modereres af journalist Nynne Bjerre Christensen.
Arrangementet præsenteres i samarbejde med Carlsbergfondet, der netop har udgivet bogen ’Vilje, viden og værdier - J.C. Jacobsens villa på Carlsberg’, hvori Birgitte Possing har skrevet hovedkapitlet om Laura og J.C. Jacobsen. Bogen kan købes i museumsbutikken.

The first thing to do is check your spam/junk filters and inboxes. Your tickets were sent as an attachment and can be thought of as spam by some email services.
