Join guests from all over the world over 3,745 square metres of stunning indoor and outdoor spaces, the world’s first Eurovision Festival Pre-Party is taking place in Copenhagen from 1600-0500 on Saturday May 4.

This event is not-for-profit with charitable donations already made to Doctors Without Borders in light of the current situation in the Middle East and Ukraine. There will be 2 more donations made after the event to Ukrainian and Danish Children Charities. Similar to the other 6 City Pre-Parties on the Tour this event is organized independently from the EBU (European Broadcasting Union).

This is an INTERNATIONAL FESTIVAL for guests aged 18+ ONLY in English for the estimated 400,000-500,000 extra people coming to the region for Eurovision Weeks in April & May.

The Opening Week Saturday Show will include some 2024 ESC acts either live in person on one of our stages or played on the LED screen. The 2024 acts will be 'just a bridge away' in Malmö.

This is an inclusive not for profit event open to all- you do not need to be in a fanclub or organization to join us: there is safe space for all in line with our Fresh Events company values: we just ask you to respect and show love for our beautiful community.

The largest venue by overall size on the European tour in 2024 with the 2nd largest total capacity. Our new Danish Kings and Australian Queens royally invite the ‘rest of the world’ to our annual Eurovision Pre-Party. Co-Hosted by James Barr (London, UK) and Annie Rection (Copenhagen, Denmark).

'MalmöHagen' is hosted in the magical fairytale capitol city of Copenhagen for May 2024. This event includes an Opening Week Saturday Promotion Concert for the 2024 Eurovision (ESC) artists.

40 Live Show Acts are already confirmed for 13 hours including 2 Concerts, 2 Stages, Quiz, Karaoke Contest, Scandinavian Songbook Pre-Show, After Show Party Concert & Euroclub all in the same venue with LED screen. 

Kick off your Eurovision Live Events Week with an Audience Grand Final 2024 Vote on the competing songs and party on a Saturday. Taking place on the Saturday night before the Malmö Opening Ceremony on Sunday May 5 to close out the Eurovision Concerts in Barcelona, ​​Madrid, London, Amsterdam, Stockholm & Oslo. We have the honor to close the tour and be your opening Grand Final Vote show to kick off Eurovision Live Events Week in Capital Copenhagen.

We are delighted to be welcoming Emmelie de Forest, the Reigning Champion of Eurovision in Malmö from 2013. She is no stranger to crossing the Oresund Bridge.

VOLUME by DISIE is next to Carlsberg and Enghave Plads train stations at Enghavevej 80 in Central Copenhagen. 

Here you will embrace the industrial history and raw expression that creates the physical framework for the city's most authentic venue.

@volume_by_disie is Copenhagen's cultural center venue with big arm movements & high ceilings. The converted former tramshed is situated on the border of Vesterbro (Featured in Time Out Magazine's 2023 World's Best Neighbourhood) and Sydhaven.

You will catch-up and hang out with current and new Danish and international visitors for this unique festival in the 2024 Eurovision Host Capital City. 6. THE CO-HOSTS

Your Eurovision Pre-Party is compered by 2 award winning co-hosts from London, UK (James Barr) and Copenhagen, Denmark (Annie Rection). A hilarious handover from last year's host country, United Kingdom is assured with these comedy queens!

James has vast experience of hosting and stand-up comedy from shows at Edinburgh Festival, London & tours across the UK. He has interview experience with global superstars such as Adele, Ed Sheeran, Sam Smith, Kylie Minogue, Olly Alexander (UK 2024 Eurovision Artist) and Loreen to name just a few in his weekday breakfast show on Hits Radio UK with Fleur East. James makes regular TV appearances on UK media shows such as with Piers Morgan on Talk TV and in current affairs and activist panel discussions. 

This will be the 5th Eurovision Promo Party that James Barr has hosted with our Organizing Team members from London, UK and during the pandemic for 'Coronavision Song Contest' online in 2020 & 2021. He was also host of London Eurovision Parties in 2017 and 2022 and a member of the BBC UK Eurovision Jury in 2017. Members of our Organizing Team were also behind the New York City Eurovision and Melfest Events in 2020 and 2022.

Annie Rection joins James to inject Danish Royalty and Hygge into the event. She is the founder and producer of Denmark's Absalon Drag Race Shows, Just Another Drag Race Series as well as considerable experience as a Podcast Host and Drag Queen performer across Denmark. Annie was part of the Dragtastic group that featured on DR1 TV show, Knaek (Kick) Cancer. She also brings stand-up comedy expertise from her shows at Comedy Zoo to your Eurovision Pre-Party evening. 

7. RUNNING ORDER OF YOUR 2024 MALMÖHAGEN GRAND FINAL IN CAPITAL COPENHAGEN 

Doors will open at 1600 for Festival Pass, VIP, Early Entry for access to the Festival Courtyard, Mastermind Quiz and Karaoke Contest on the Festival ‘Wings of Love’ Stage.

The exclusive Red Carpet Parade Opening Ceremony for our invited VIP Guest List and Eurovision Legends will start at 1800-1900 to commentate the launch of the World First Copenhagen Festival.

For standard entry ticket holders, the doors open at 1900.

From 1930 to 0000 the 2024 Malmohagen Grand Final show will showcase 26 of the competing 2024 ESC songs to fight for the WIN!

YOU have decided who qualified for the 28 places in our Copenhagen Grand Final on our Instagram pre vote from March 11 until April 1. We will announce the 28 finalists in the 2024 concert.

After the Show Cast and Acts perform YOU will vote for you top 10 songs with your 1 point up to 12 points for your winner to send over the Øresund bridge to Malmö. 

Our 2024 Danish Absalon Drag Race stars, 2023 Just Another Drag Show stars, 2023 Danish LGBTQIA+ Rainbow Award nominees, winners and Drag Performers will host the Eurovision 'Drag-A-Vision' show: an ESC musical medley for your senses! That stage will BLOW with some of the dance breaks (and ballads) we have in store between the 2024 competing songs! Our entertainers will warmly welcome and make you feel cozy in our Danish House of 'Hygge'.

From 0000 until 0115 the Afterparty Concert continues in the same LED Stage venue with Eurovision All Stars from previous Contests, National Finals and Guest Performers.

From 0100 until 0500 OGAE DJ Ohrmeister, a veteran of over 20 countries of Euroclubs will close the night in our unforgettable dancehall. 

We have 8 LGBTQIA+ club nites in Copenhagen and a further 18 LGBTQIA+ bars, cafés, restaurants and safe spaces. Denmark has been voted Safest Country in the World multiple times offering a welcoming space for all. Most venues have no cover charge in Copenhagen. After the Party you can go home and sleep on the train back to Malmö, The Euroclub or your place in Copenhagen.

Copenhagen Central station is a 28 minute train ride away from Malmö Arena (or 12 minutes if coming from Copenhagen Airport). Trains run through the night so you don't need to worry if you are staying in either city.

Unique from the existing Euroclubs and Pre-Party Concerts, YOU will ALSO be the audience and voters in your own 2024 Grand Final! This event is a 13 hour party with after party Euroclub. We won't ask you to leave after the concert, show and vote: it all take space in the same space. 

This spectacular Eurovision Week Opening Party is YOUR 'Saturday Night' of Copenhagen Eurovision Weekend. The Danish Capitol needs a full weekend to explore, not just a week night! PARTY like Whigfield (1990s Danish pop legend) and her global number 1 hit, 'Saturday Night'! You don't want to suffer PED (Post Eurovision Depression) on Saturday May 11, do you!

A Three-Time Host Capital City of Eurovision Grand Finals in 1964, 2001 & 2014, Denmark will host our own 2024 Grand Final Pre-Party on behalf of our dear (but smaller) neighbor, Malmö, Sweden. We also hosted the 2005 Eurovision Anniversary Contest.

If you are approved for Eurovision 2024 Accreditation in Malmö you will be fast tracked to our final review stage for Press Access. To access the Festival Day Program, Evening shows, quiz, karaoke and concerts accredited press will need to purchase their choice of ticket.

Included in the ticket is the expectation that you read our safe space policy. Copenhagen is the safest city in the world again from The Economist Safe Cities Index 2023: we will keep it that way in our Festival. Failure to comply with our safe space policy for all may result in expulsion. Security will be on site to provide an enjoyable evening for all. No form of hate or discrimination is accepted. If you witness or experience anything, go directly to the people working at the bar or the security staff. The ticket is non-refundable. We reserve a few discounted tickets for BIPOC/Non binary/Trans people who can't afford the tickets, but need a night like this. Statement

With the ongoing conflicts in Ukraine and the Middle East we have already made a donation to Doctors Without Borders. We will make an additional donation to a Trans children charity in Denmark and a children’s charity in Ukraine. This event is not for profit and all proceeds are invested in the event itself and donations. Similar to the other pre-parties across 7 European cities this year the event is independently organised. The organisers are not part of the European Broadcasting Union. You can consider a donation on the Fundraiser link on the Instagram page.
