NY OPERA AF JEXPER HOLMEN
”Adele bor med Leon; men der er noget galt. Adele skaber en del katastrofer omkring sig. Skønt hun er både sød og livlig laver hun underligt flegmatisk ubehagelige ting som at slå små dyr ihjel, skolde sin søster mm.” Sådan begynder librettisten Jesper Lützhøft en kort synopsis af operaen. Utryghed, mystik, hverdagskedsomhed, vold, barnegråd og sex spiller alt sammen en rolle i De mørkeblå Lillakvinder i Villakvartererne. I tillæg dertil fortæller komponisten Jexper Holmen: ”Ligesom i tidligere værker, jeg har skrevet, er operaens partitur enhedspræget og ekstremt. Det er strengt homofont fra ende til anden, og orkestret spiller næsten kun kromatiske clusters.” Ved at lade sangerne vokse ind i orkestret, formår Holmen at tegne karaktererne, som det de reelt er: Figurer i en opera og ikke mennesker af kød og blod.
Kort fortalt er hovedpersonerne Adele, hendes søster Beatrice, og Adeles mand, Leon. Adele er ikke et afslappet og trygt menneske. Som en utilregnelig følelsesvulkan opstår der katastrofer omkring hende, alt imens de tre hovedpersoners forhold roligt trækkes ud over afgrunden.

The first thing to do is check your spam/junk filters and inboxes. Your tickets were sent as an attachment and can be thought of as spam by some email services.
