På grund af udfordringer med rejserestriktioner ændres programmet for Trio Siboney.
Yasser Pino vil stadig være at finde på kontrabas, og med sig har han Lazara Cachao (piano) og Yohan Ranón (percussion)
En hyldest til Cachao.
Pianisten Lazara Cachao er en af de mest autentiske udøvere af den traditionelle cubanske musikstil fra 1950’erne. Og hun har det ikke fra fremmede; hendes far var en af Cubas legender, nemlig bassisten Orlando ”Cachaíto” Lopez fra Buena Vista Social Club. Med enestående virtuositet formidler hun den store musikalske arv, med indflydelse fra bl.a Frank Emilio Flynn, Peruchin og Ruben Gonzales.
På denne aften i Tranquebar vil du kunne opleve de smukkeste cubanske stilarter: Danzon, Cha-cha-cha, Bolero og Descarga (Cuban jam).
