Det er med stor glæde Stubbekøbing Museum byder velkommen til en af landets absolut ypperste violinister til denne koncert, som vores smukke kirke lægger rum til.
Fra Nakskov gik vejen til det Det Jyske Musikkonservatorium, hvor Kim Sjøgren blev optaget bare 12 år gammel, og han debuterede allerede som 17-årig. Blot tre år senere blev han medlem af Det Kongelige Kapel, hvor han blev koncertmester som 22-årig, den yngste i kapellets historie. Kim Sjøgren er professor i violin og kammermusik på Det Jyske Musikkonservatorium, og han optræder i det meste af verden med sit violinspil.
Vi ser frem til at dele denne unikke oplevelse med så mange som muligt, og siger tak til Stubbekøbing Kirke for at lægge rum til og dermed muliggøre koncerten.
