Niels Skousen m. Band - erstatter Ten Years After, hvis optræden er umuliggjort grundet rejserestriktioner og isolationsregler.
Desuden opgraderer festivalen Uffe Lorenzens koncert til fuld-band setup med LydSyn - med plads til solomateriale og klassikere fra bl.a. Spids Nøgenhat.
Kun For Forrykte Festival 2021 gennemføres d. 27 og 28 august - bare for lige at slå det fast med syvtommersøm, efter mange udfordringer det seneste halvandet år. Som en sidste udfordring har festivalen gennem den sidste uge, i samarbejde med Ten Years Afters management, kæmpet for at få koncerten på plads men må sande, at der grundet de nuværende skrappe rejserestriktioner og krav om isolation ikke bliver muligt at få Ten Years After forbi festivalen i denne omgang.
Bandet og deres management beklager meget og har bedt os viderebringe denne udtalelse:
"Due to the current Covid pandemic (Great Britain on the red and Denmark on the amber list), the Artist Ten Years After from UK is unfortunately not in a position to play your concert on August 27 th in Stubbekobing. Although numerous corona measures are currently being relaxed, travelling to and from Great Britain is still heavily influenced by many restrictions and endangered by new Covid variants. The band regrets this very much and promises to make up for the failed gig as soon as the situation has fundamentally improved."
Festivalleder Frederik Schnoor udtaler:
“ Vi er meget ærgerlige over situationen, men beder om vores publikums forståelse. Vi lever stadig i en corona-tid, hvor man må søge det muliges kunst. Ingen kan gå ind og erstatte Ten Years After 1/1 i år, men vi har på den korte tidsfrist fundet et par gode løsninger, som jeg håber vores fantastiske publikum vil tage godt imod. Niels Skousen returnerer til festivalen med fuldt band efter en smuk koncert i 2019 - og det poetiske udtryk og hans udødelige sange står smukkere end nogensinde. Derudover har vi opgraderet Uffe Lorenzens koncert til fuldt band med hans nye trio LydSyn, som vil give os en tiltrængt dosis psykedelisk guitar -rock med plads til klassikere fra Spids Nøgenhats sangskat og hans eget solomateriale. Jeg vil appellere til, at publikum husker at gennemførelsen af årets festival her i år også handler om hele fødekæden, så musikere, leverandører, lydfolk og arrangører i sidste ende kan overleve, mens publikum stadig får en fantastisk, forrykt god oplevelse! Vi håber på jeres forståelse.”
