NU KAN DU OPLEVE BILLEDKUNSTNER OG PILOT SIMONE AABERG KÆRN I SAMSPIL MED RUDERSDAL KAMMERSOLISTER I PERFORMANCE-KONCERTEN LUFTHAVETS KVINDER. UROPFØRELSEN FINDER STED I HANGAREN I ÆRØ LUFTHAVN DEN 29. JULI 2021.
Hvem var de første kvinder i luften og på havet? Hvad drev disse kvinder? Hvad gav dem modet til at tage afsted? Den danske billedkunstner og pilot Simone Aaberg Kærn har i samarbejde med Rudersdal Kammersolister skabt performance-koncerten LUFTHAVETS KVINDER, som undersøger kvindelig udlængsel og mod i dansk og global sø- og luftfartshistorie. Værket opføres for første gang i Hangaren i Ærø Lufthavn torsdag den 29. juli 2021 kl. 17.00-19.00.
Simone Aaberg Kærn er en af Danmarks mest anerkendte billedkunstnere. Hun er også pilot og arbejder med flyvning som en metafor for frihed og luftrum som ubegrænset af politiske grænser. Et af hendes mest bemærkelsesværdige projekter var en flyvning til Afghanistan, hvor hun fløj sin 40 år gamle Piper Colt fra Lille Skensved til Kabul i Afghanistan for at finde en ung afghansk kvinde, hvis største drøm var at blive pilot.
Rudersdal Kammersolister består af en række af Øresundsregionens førende musikere. Med den prisbelønnede violinist Christine Pryn i spidsen har de gjort det til deres speciale at kombinere musikken med andre kunstformer og videnskabelige oplæg.
Musikken som spilles til performance-koncerten er skabt af tre kvindelige og tværgenerationelle komponister: Ylva Fred (SE), Mel Bonis (FR) og Elena Firsova (Rusland). Simone Aaberg Kærn har igennem det sidste år samarbejdet med den svenske komponist Ylva Fred om et helt nyt stykke musik, som uropføres i forbindelse med LUFTHAVETS KVINDER i Ærø Lufthavn.
Performance-koncerten er en del af et større projekt, der munder ud i udstillingen Wings of Desire, som man kan se i det nyetablerede udstillingssted the Danish Arts Residency ved Ærøkøbing i hele august 2021. Videoværket fra performance-koncerten vil indgå som en del af udstillingen.
TRANSPORT
Man kommer til Ærø med færge eller sejlbåd. Færgerne sejler til øen fra Svendborg, Fynshav eller Rudkøbing og Faaborg. Der er gratis lokalbusser på Ærø.

I have not received my ticket via email. What should I do?
The first thing to do is check your spam/junk filters and inboxes. Your tickets were sent as an attachment and can be thought of as spam by some email services.
