Hvad kan fotografiet egentlig som medie i en samfundsdebat? Hvordan kan man se på samfundsproblemer med kunstneriske og æstetiske øjne, og hvorfor er det overhovedet vigtigt at gøre dette?
I forbindelse med Copenhagen Photo Festivals 10-års jubilæum, kan vi i samarbejde med festivalen præsentere en MandagsTalk i fotografiets tegn. I denne omgang har vi været heldige at få besøg af Jana Sophia Nolle, der er tysk fotograf som beskæftiger sig med fotografi i forbindelse med samfundskontraster, magtstrukturer og forbrugskultur. Hun portrætterer konflikter omhandlende hjemløse i San Francisco på en ny og meget original måde og beskæftiger sig med, hvordan dette påvirker den måde, vi snakker om debatten på. Derudover søger hun med sin serie også at sætte spot på forbrugskultur og magt i vestlige samfundsstrukturer.
Vi vil udforske fotografi, materialitet, originalitet, visualitet og en masse foto-teori for at udvide vores tanker om, hvad fotografiet egentlig er for en størrelse, og hvor stor en betydning det har for os i vores dagligdag og specielt i samfundsdebatter.
Så vil du blive klogere på, hvad fotografiet kan i en samfundsdebat og på hvordan vi påvirkes af fotos i vores dagligdag, så er denne MandagsTalk noget for dig.

I have not received my ticket via email. What should I do?
The first thing to do is check your spam/junk filters and inboxes. Your tickets were sent as an attachment and can be thought of as spam by some email services. The approval of refunds is entirely at the event organiser’s discretion, and you should get in contact with the event organiser to discuss what options are available to you.
