Pierre Dørges New Jungle Orchestra mødes med – Palle Mikkelborg.
”Magisk musik i kirkens midte” var overskriften på Henrik Palles anmeldelse af sidste års fascinerende kirkemøde under Copenhagen Jazzfestival.
Vær med til at fejre nytåret med en af Danmarks største musikmagere - trompetisten Palle Mikkelborg i leg med et fabulerende jungleorkester.
Koncerten er musikalsk åben – måske med citater fra Palle og Pierres nørrebroske cowboyfilm, som de så i Odeon Teatret, biografen på Fælledvejen, nu ombygget til toilet efter en brand, den 17.september 1958 forårsaget af en cigaretglød på en af balkonens stolesæder.
Palle Mikkelborg skrev i 1984 et værk AURA til Miles Davis
og modtog i 2001 Nordisk Råds Musikpris .
New Jungle Orchestra blev udnævnt til Dansk Statsensemble 1993-96.
Pierre Dørge blev indstillet til Nordisk Råds Musikpris i 2003.
Pga corona er der desværre begrænset plads i kirken og derfor har vi måttet forhøje billetprisen for at få det til at løbe rundt – en billet koster kr. 340,-
