From Melbourne, Australia, contemporary classical music night Play On brings its dynamic programming to Copenhagen for the very first time.
Celebrated for curating programs which reach across time, cultures and musical forms to upend preconceptions and create space for new ways of listening, for its Danish debut Play On is honoured to present two young violinists on an unstoppable rise to stardom: Inga Våga Gaustad (Norway) and Lily Higson-Spence (Australia).
Be there to witness Inga and Lily perform Russian master Sergei Prokofiev’s arresting Sonata for Two Violins, selections from Béla Bartók’s 44 Duets, and the first Jacques Aubert Suite from Opus 15.
Sets by Play On DJs bookend the performance, delivering everything from left-field oddities to disco favourites.
