Have you always dreamt of being able to create your own upcycled and sustainable fashion pieces, but lacked the skills behind the sewing machine? Wait no more, together with The Garment Dept. we are presenting a workshop where we will teach you how to sew - upcycling style. 

This means that you will be learning how to use a sewing machine while also transforming textile waste into small things such as cute scrunchies or a practical tote bag. 

Materials will be provided, as well as free tea, coffee, snacks, but you are welcome to bring your own old clothes too

The fashion industry is the second largest polluter on this planet. From modern slavery to mass consumerism, we need to change our ways, but it can be difficult to know where to start. We want to give you the power to reclaim your style by making your own sustainable fashion pieces and together challenge the status quo of the fashion industry.

This workshop is a collaboration between We Collective - and Wair, who share the vision of a world where we respect the gifts (of life) our planet provides and have fun embracing our creativity to honour them.
