Description

[Note, the talk is in Danish]
Our bodies are connected to earth's gravity, climate and atmosphere. A connection that is impossible to leave behind.

Research explores the physical boundaries and possibilities of the human body at a time when the Earth is no longer the only planetary habitat for our species. For example, what happens to the body if we want to settle on Mars? Are humans at all able to adapt to living anywhere other than on earth? What happens to the body if we take it out of its planetary context? And what new insights does it give us in the interplay between body and planet?

In this talk, astronomer Michael Lindholm and curator Jacob Lillemose meets for a conversation about the body in space

Michael Lindholm is an astronomer and has spent the last eight years teaching astronomy and astrophysics, at home and abroad

Jacob Lillemose has a Ph.D. in art history and is a curator at Medical Museion.

    FAQ

    • I have not received my ticket via email. What should I do?

The first thing to do is check your spam/junk filters and inboxes. Your tickets were sent as an attachment and can be thought of as spam by some email services. • I have registered on the waiting list, what happens now?

If more tickets become available you will be notified (by email) amongst others who have joined the list. Purchasing is on a first-come first-serve basis. For more information, read here.

    • Where do I find a link to an online event?

Check your order confirmation page or order confirmation email. Usually, the organiser of the event provides the details in the order confirmation email or they might send you a follow-up email with a link to their online event. You might also want to read the event description on Billetto where an event organiser should describe how to join the event online. For more information on this, read here.
