Description

ENGLISH:

AFTERMATH is a new dance performance by choreographer Lotte Sigh performed in the marvelous Grundtvigs Church with 25 international dancers and music by the church's own organist Mads Høck.

AFTERMATH explores the human heritage that as an invisible creature can have aftereffects on both individuals, groups and peoples for generations. Geneticists have made research on how for example trauma can be inherited, and that our conditions and choices can become an echo that moves the world dynamic. From this arises the inspiration for AFTERMATH, and the effect of that heritage we all are both receivers and sender of is the DNA of this performance. The costumes are made out of parachutes from World War II, and the tones from a long forgotten era meets strong-willed dancers and live improvisations by organist Mads Høck that together make their suggestion for where the world is heading.

OBS: Discounts apply to students, seniors and unemployed and groups of minimum 15 people. Children under 18 years old can enter for free along with an adult.
