Rapperen Bishop Nehru fra New York indtager Guldbergsgade 8 til et brag af en hip-hop koncert.
Bishop Nehru er kendetegnet ved sine "looping-flows", sine personlige rytme mønstre og ikke mindst sine vintage east coast lyd.
Den 23-årige rapper, producer og musik video director er inspireret af navne som Kanye West, Michael Jackson, ASAP Rocky, Tyler the Creator og Wu-Tang Clan. Han fik sit gennembrud da han åbnede for netop Wu-Tang Clan på deres 20 års jubilæums tour.
Han har produceret siden han var 13 år, hvor han gik under sit jazz alias Kelz Scott, allerede som 14 årig begyndte han på hip-hop instrumentaler. I 2012 tog hans karrierer fart som Bishop Nehru, hvor han blev udgivet på WorldStarHipHop, som også udnævnte ham som deres unge talent. Han blev senere en af de tre første signings på Nas pladeselskab Mass Appeal Records.
I 2017 udgav han sit første solo mixtape, som dokumenteret hans tilstedeværelse på den amerikanske hip-hop scene. I 2018 udgav han albummet ELEVATORS: Act 1 & 2 med gæster såsom Kaytranada og MF DOOM.
