Der er dømt KVINDE-POWER i aften på Stationen, hvor der er garanti for fantastisk sang, medrivende sceneperformance og GLÆDE over hele linjen!
Blue Belles of Joy er en powerful trio med sangerinderne Lea Thorlann (voc, perc), Pia Trøjgaard (voc,pno) og Miriam Mandipira (voc).
Blue Belles of Joy optræder med blues, gospel og soul; En skøn livsglad blanding af kendte blues-, soul- og gospelnumre, kendte og ukendte sange iklædt powerfulde soul og gospel vokaler samt originale sange.
Miriam Mandipira har turneret med DR Bigband, sunget i Tivoli og er generelt en STJERNE i det danske blues- og jazzmiljø. Hun er foruden i sine egne bands medforsanger i Troels Jensen & The Healers. Har udgivet flere cd´er, senest i duo sammenhæng med Troels Jensen og det helt nye projekt ”The Soul Family”.
Lea Thorlann har udgivet original soulmusik i eget navn, turneret med ”Waiting for Janis” (Janis Joplin cover band) samt blues bandet ”Ladies Sing The Blues”, sunget kor for Gud og hver mand og driver økologisk landbrug på Møn, når hun ikke farer land og rige rundt som sanger.
Pia Trøjgaard, vokalist, korsanger, korarrangør– og nu også pianist har turneret land og rige rundt med bl.a. ”Savage Rose”, ”Big fat Snake”, ”Lars Lilholt”, ”Poul Krebs” og ”Erann DD” (Zapp Zapp). Medvirker på utallige cd´er bl.a. A touch Of Gospel og Alberte Winding/Jan Rørdam.
